Cindy Rosslind has been appointed Miss International South Africa 2013 and will represent South Africa at the 53rd Miss International pageant to be held in October. The Miss International pageant began in Long Beach, California in 1960, but moved to Japan in the early 1970's.
The pageant is considered a Grand Slam pageant by leading pageant website, Global Beauties and should not be confused with the scholarship/achiever/charity event by the same name that has been held annually in the USA since 2005.
Cindy will join beauties from more than 70 countries to compete for the crown and USD20,000 first prize.
