MR RSA INTERNATIONAL

Entries for the 2014 Mr RSA International pageant open on 29 July 2013. The pageant serves as the South African preliminary for 5 international pageants for males. The Top 3 at the pageant are guaranteed of participation at an international event.

REINA MAYA INTERNACIONAL

The Reina Maya Internacional or International Mayan Queen pageant will be held for the first time this year. The pageant forms part of the International Festival of Culture and Beauty to be staged in Cancun, Mexico during October.

South African Beauties International was invited to send a delegate to the pageant to represent South Africa, and her name will be revealed anon.

MR MODEL INTERNATIONAL SA

Tyrone Nell from Johannesburg has been selected to represent South Africa at the Mr Model International pageant to be held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. 40 countries will compete for the title in June.

TOP 20 AT MISS TOURISM

South Africa's Frieda du Plessis was included in the Top 20 semi-finalists at the Miss Tourism World pageant in Bangkok, Thailand on Sunday 16 December. She did not make it through to the round of 5 finalists which included the delegates from China, India, Lebanon, Russia and Thailand.

The pageant featured contestants from 58 countries and was won by Miss Russia with Miss India and Miss Lebanon in second and third places respectively.

FRIEDA TOURS BANGKOK

Miss Tourism World SA, Frieda du Plessis, is photographed whilst on a sightseeing excursion in Bangkok. She will depart for Hat Yai later today where she will join the pageant party.

The contestants for Miss Tourism World 2012 are in that city, which is near the Malaysian border, for 2 days where they will participate in various activities.
